It was a Sunday morning and mommy decided it was time to take a test. As soon as I was near a store that carried them on the way to work, I stopped to pick a pack of two up. I took one immediately when I got into the bathroom and there was no hesitation in the test showing a positive line. I WAS PREGNANT!
Usually people wait until they are further along before they tell anyone, maybe telling a few but not many. I could not wait!!! I had my sister get my mother to call me and finally reached my husband. My father called me soon after and the news was already out. I then proceeded to tell other close friends and family. We did wait until three months along to tell the public about us expecting. It seems to be a tradition as well as the “safe” mark. If you’re becoming a mother or are one then you know what I mean.
Today was a very exciting day. I couldn’t contain myself and could not wait to move along into the whole pregnancy. Daddy seemed shocked and happy all in the same tone. He is ready to meet you as much as I am!!!!
