Today we were able to go in and capture our very first picture of you. You were so tiny!! I considered you a little pea. 🙂 Mommy and daddy were there and we both were excited to hear that everything was fine. Mommy had a few concerns to worry about but everything checked out okay. At this point mommy was about 8 weeks pregnant according to doctors.

It was amazing for mommy and daddy to see you on screen. We couldn’t wait to tell everyone the good news, but of course had to wait to tell the public until 3 months into the pregnancy. Taking a picture home of you was a great feeling deep inside our hearts. We could see you and knew then that it was all really real! We were having a baby!!!

It was a Sunday morning and  mommy decided it was time to take a test. As soon as I was near a store that carried the tests on the way to work, I stopped to pick a pack of two up. I took one immediately when I got into the bathroom and there was no hesitation in the test showing a positive line. I WAS PREGNANT! 

Usually people wait until they are further along before they tell anyone, maybe telling a few but not many. I could not wait!!! I had my sister get my mother to call me and finally reached my husband. My father called me soon after and the news was already out. I then proceeded to tell other close friends and family. My sister in law and mother in law were very excited!! We did wait until three months along to tell the public about us expecting. It seems to be a tradition as well as the “safe” mark. If you’re becoming a mother or are one then you know what I mean.

Today was a very exciting day. I couldn’t contain myself and could not wait to move along into the whole pregnancy. Daddy seemed shocked and happy all in the same tone. He is ready to meet you as much as I am!!!! The very next day I took another one just to make sure and yep, sure enough, I WAS PREGNANT! This is something that made mommy incredibly excited and anxious all at the same time. I can’t wait to learn more and find out more and meet you one day!!
